Curriculum Vitae

Experience

Palantir Technologies, Valley Forge Grantee, Jun - Aug 2026
- One of the 30 grantees in the founding cohort, building solo with Foundry & AIP and FDE mentorship.
- Engineered and shipped a global network graph of 11M+ people and companies tracing beneficial ownership, FOCI, and international sanctions evasion for the DCSA SF-328 clearance and FOCI determination process.
- Built the entire graph for only about $1000 in API costs.
Gulfstream Aerospace, Completions Stress Engineering Intern, Jun - Dec 2025
- Built a cabin floorplan and configuration tool that won the company-wide innovation award, consolidating multiple siloed tools into one across a dozen departments.
- Embedded with the stress, weight & balance, seats and compliance teams; built the internal apps and databases that replaced their manual workflows.
- One of only two HS interns in Completions engineering.

A fruit fly brain that doomscrolls, x.com/Gilliardism
- Ran the complete MaleCNS connectome (166,700 neurons) as a closed-loop agent on an infinite feed, reading its decision to quit from its own motor neurons.
- Intermittent reward held agents only above about one reward (dopamine) post in four; at one in two they stayed 5.1x longer and a third of them never quit.
- Reward silenced the escape command (4.62 to 0.06 Hz), removing the exit instead of attracting them.
MERIDIAN, Rust, github.com/jbgilliard/MERIDIAN
- Open-source registry for intelligence-community naming: mints unguessable codewords, nicknames, cryptonyms and SAP designators, and verifies their provenance.
- Append-only ledger scoped by marking, program and compartment, with correct classification banners.
- Lints collisions against historical cryptonyms, JANAP call signs, weapon-system names and meaning-leaking words.
GARBLE, Rust, github.com/jbgilliard/GARBLE
- Post-quantum secure messaging protocol for DoW/IC use, threat-modeled against nation-state adversaries.
- Designed against ICD 503, NIST SP 800-53 and DoDM 5205.07; codeword minted with MERIDIAN.

Savannah Technical College, Certificate, Aircraft Structural Technology, Oct 2024 - May 2025
- Program valedictorian and honor graduate.
- Student TA for the program under Prof. Roger Simmons.
